Warwick Marsh, family and friends are commited to ministering the Good News of the Gospel, and teaching on Praise and Worship wherever the opportunity presents itself. We do not have set charges for ministry performances but we do have set costs. We believe that the Gospel is free - However there "ain't no free lunches" as a famous Australian Prime Minister once said.

Music ministry is an expensive exercise. The replacement value of our musical equipment would be over $50,000 not to mention diesel (our fuel tank on the tour bus which takes $600 to fill), repairs to equipment and vehicles (one tyre on the bus is $600) as well as the hundred and one other costs associated with organising ministry tours, such as air fares, publicity and printing, insurance, telephone and postage. It is also our responsibility to look after those who tour with us and to encourage them in their own ministry. We are producing TV outreach documentaries for worldwide distribution. Our weekly ministry budget at home is between $3,000 and $5,000 per week. Touring costs can easily average up to $10,000 per week.

Many times over the last 10 years of full time ministry in Australia and around the world, I have been asked to give people our costs to minister. Most are quite surprised at the costs involved, having little experience in the music industry or in international missions and music ministry.

Often it is a case of raising sponsorship before the event from churches, community organisations, business and individuals. Love offerings help. Selling tickets is another way to go. We are like you. We haven't got all the answers. All we ask is that you join us in faith for our finances. Our desire is to GO to the small churches as well as the large, poorer countries as well as the more prosperous.

Logistics Summary

While on tour in Australia we carry a 32 channel, front of house, two-way system of 1,000 watts and a 500 watt foldback system with a very basic lighting rig. In order to present a good quality production we usually do a full mike up. We need an area of minimum size 6m by 3.5m (prefer larger) to set up in, preferably in a large room or hall with absorbant surfaces (good acoustics). It takes 1½ - 2 hours to set up and about 1 hour to pull down. It is always helpful to have people available for set up and pull downs. An overhead projector is a must and provision of a table to set up our tapes and CDs is appreciated.

As much as possible we try to be self sufficient in our own tour bus while on tour in Australia, requiring only a level place to park, use of power and access to amenities. However we do often need billets for other team members travelling with us. Please confirm numbers for billets before our tour begins. Providing food and accommodation for the team is a way you can really help us. While on tour internationally we require assistance with all aspects of touring - transport, accommodation, food and some musical equipment.

Publicity and Promotion are up to you!
We can provide:
(a) Press release of information + photos for your local newspaper
(b) Basic artwork for flyers for you to photocopy or print as needed
(c) Colour posters- these are expensive so please use effectively
(d) Church references to help you get other churches involved
(e) TV film clips
We have done interviews on local radio & TV stations in many cities and received airplay of our music. Your creativity in the area of promotion can do miracles so do pray and get God's creative direction.

Make sure that you personally invite the participation of the local churches in your region.
